Ms. Juliane Erbach, a student at the University of Kassel Witzenhausen, working under the supervision of Prof. Eva Eva Schlecht, worked in the Peri-Urban areas of Faisalabad from September 28 through December 20, 2011 to study the role of women in the urban dairy systems: their working conditionss and valuation of work. In addition to doing field work in the Urban and Peri-Urban areas of Faisalabad, she organised a couple of meetings with the women dairy workers at the University campus. A special seminar is being organised to present ther work to the faculty and students of the University on December 16, 2011.
